Amanda Farmer

Amanda Farmer was raised in the Mennonite faith on a farm in Pennsylvania and moved with her family to Minnesota at age 16 where she worked alongside them on a large dairy farm until the age of 29. She now lives on a hobby farm in southeastern Minnesota with her husband of 35 years. They have one grown daughter who is a veterinarian. Amanda holds a Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia and works in that field. Drawing on her Mennonite upbringing and early adult years, farm life, and rural Minnesota roots, she writes memoir in her spare time.
