Doris Hale Sanders

Doris Hale Sanders grew up on a farm in southern Breckinridge County, Kentucky. In 1970, she moved to the northern section of the county to Cloverport, Kentucky where she was employed as Municipal Clerk-Treasurer, a position she held for 24 years. After retiring and remarrying, her husband, Don, encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming an author. Her first novel, "Home is Where" was published in 2004 at the age of 69.

Her latest novel, "From Foley's Folly to Fantasia's Island" makes a total of 19 books in print. She enjoys word puzzles, music, reading and, of course, writing.
