Marisol Rey Castillo

Ph.D. in Educational Innovation and Education, with a solid trajectory in university teaching, academic management, and research in higher education in Colombia and Mexico. She has held leadership and coordination positions in undergraduate programs, overseeing curriculum planning processes, faculty team management, academic workload allocation, and student support.

She has taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels in linguistics, academic writing, and research training, with extensive experience as a thesis advisor and examiner for master's theses. She is a researcher with sustained scientific production in indexed journals, books, and book chapters in areas such as internationalization, public policy, quality of education, academic and scientific writing, doctoral education, lexicography, Spanish as a foreign language, and inclusive education.

She serves as an external peer reviewer for research projects and as a reviewer for national and international scientific journals. She is an expert in virtual education, instructional design, and digital pedagogy.
