Helen L. Stewart

Dr. Helen Stewart's first book Seven Seconds or Less takes us on a wild ride from a tonsillectomy gone strange, to righting an adversarial relationship in the workplace, to having neophytes decipher a colleague's secret new product, to Helen's using intuitive methods to advise leaders behind the scenes. She calls the intuitive process she developed "Seven Second Decision Making."

Trusted advisor to many, the author provides intuitive information to individuals and companies in the U.S. and abroad on a wide range of business subjects. Grounded in decades of both mainstream and alternative training and work experience, she holds an earned Ph.D. from Brandeis University, two degrees from Boston University, and was a Post-Doctoral Scholar at Harvard University. Her work life encompasses several well-known universities as a faculty member and academic administrator, the United Nations Development Program, and private consulting for non-profit and for-profit businesses. Helen holds both local and global perspectives, having lived and worked in many areas of the world.

Currently she lives on a sweet little hill in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she continues to write about intuition and more recently about Grits and Granola, commentary on what she sees as her personal journey towards grace in the face of multifaceted challenges.
