Amy Dupire

Amy Dupire grew up in a small, ranching town in Northwest Colorado where she was fortunate to be exposed to the sort of strange stories that fly swiftly through a tightly-knit, rural community. She is a short story writer, novelist, and a frequent winner and finalist in the Surrey International Writers' Conference Writing Contest in the Writing for Young People category.

Her published works include the short story collection "god-thing: and other weird & worrisome tales", and the upcoming "All Kinds of Hell" (to be released October 18, 2014).

She is inspired by the daily magic and micro-horrors of everyday life, including pancakes, lost-and-found jewelry, and untended matches.
