Sandeep Khedkar is a Strategic Management and Process Transformation specialist with over three decades of global, multi-industry experience spanning consulting, academia, and enterprise leadership. His work integrates the worlds of applied management, business process excellence, business-technology solutions, systematic innovation, knowledge management, and managerial capability development, offering thought leadership towards integrated solutions that help organizations achieve sustained performance improvement.

A seasoned educator, consultant, and conceptual thinker, Sandeep has served in wide range of roles with leading organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, KPIT, SSA Global, Baan Satyam and Praj, in addition to advising numerous business-technology driven transformation initiatives across industries.

As a faculty member and mentor at premier business schools including NMIMS and Symbiosis International University, he has shaped the strategic and operational thinking of hundreds of MBA students and executives through courses on strategy, innovation, and operations.

He specializes in the innovative application of known management concepts, tools, and best practices to address specific business challenges and generate robust solutions through abstraction and logical deduction. An accomplished author, Sandeep has earlier written two books, Boundary Rediscovered – An Elemental Rethink of the People Services Supply Chain and A Tryst with Time – The Subtle Art of Process Transformation. Both these books present novel approaches to strategic business analysis, performance management, solution development, creation of business models, and their successful implementation to ensure strategic business transformation.

This book, The Knowledge Advantage - A Solutions Approach for Strategic Knowledge Management continues his mission to make management thought both practical and human-centred, blending analytical rigor with creative insight.

He obtained his Master of Financial Management degree from NMIMS, Mumbai University, India and the Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) degree from Pune University, India.

Sandeep also paints evocative watercolor landscapes and abstracts, plus writes poetry inspired by nature and spirituality.
