Albert Bryce Hanner

ALBERT BRYCE HANNER, a contemporary American writer of poetry, prose, and fiction, born on January 10, 1974, in Flint, Michigan. He received private fine-art instruction at the Rae Studio & Gallery in Flushing, Michigan (1986–1994), and earned a double major in Painting & Drawing and Graphic Design from Central Michigan University in 2001. Hanner has been married to Jessica Marie (Soliz) Hanner of St. Johns, Michigan, for twenty-five years. The couple lived in New York City (2001) before relocating to Denver, Colorado (2005), and currently reside in Arvada, Colorado, with their two children, Maya and Albert. Since 2003, Hanner has published seven volumes of poetry. The first edition of his literary fiction novel Resolving Dalton Jones was published in 2015, followed by his first young adult fantasy, The Adventures of Izza of Opak, in 2021. Since 2012, Hanner has served as Art Director for the Financial Planning Association (FPA), overseeing the production of their award-winning, peer-reviewed journals: Journal of Financial Planning and Journal of Financial Planning: Research Quarterly.
