J. B. Cantwell

I spend my days chasing around my kids and furry companions, but at night is when my ideas come alive. I love writing dystopian, fantasy, and kids stories about ordinary people put into extraordinary situations. I like to explore what our world might become like in the future, and while sometimes things may seem dire, finding hope under the toughest conditions is important both for me and for my characters.

When I’m not writing, you can find me hiking in the mountains, training for adventurous backpacking trips, or enjoying a nice glass of red wine. I also love playing with my two dogs and two cats and having great conversations with my family over dinner.
