Hi! I’m Martin Mawyer.

I founded Christian Action Network in 1990 -- so many years ago -- because I have a heart for God and a love for this country.

Prior to launching my pro-family organization, I was a journalist in Washington D.C. with the task of covering religious and social issues.

In 1983, my news reporting caught the eye of Dr. Jerry Falwell, who liked the idea that my articles lacked the usual biased slant found in the writings of my liberal colleagues. He invited me to become the editor of his Moral Majority Report, which I accepted.

Those were some tremendous and exciting years! But eventually Dr. Falwell decided to shut the organization and newspaper down and focus more of his time on what he loved most -- his church ministry and university.

But I couldn’t stop doing what I loved most: Making sure Christians in America were aware of the important issues that affect their families, nation, church and even jobs.

For three decades now, Christian Action Network (CAN) has been in the forefront of many of these social and religious issues that have greatly impacted our culture, religious freedoms and traditional values.

We use documentary films, books, newsletters and social media to counter the liberal bias of the mainstream media. Our goal is to provide God-fearing Americans with the truth. And we want those patriotic Americans to understand what they can do to defend those truths and keep America as a Christian nation.

Most noticeably, we were the first to produce a documentary film exposing Islamic terrorist camps scattered around the United States. That extraordinary film, which gained national headlines, was called “Homegrown Jihad.”

We also released a book about those terrorist camps, called “Twilight in America: The Untold Story of Islamic Terrorist Camps Inside America.” It became a #1 bestseller on Amazon.

Our biggest production challenge was producing a documentary film on the rise of Islam across Western Europe. We called the film, “Europe’s Last Stand.” We made a half-dozen trips to Europe, visiting more than a dozen countries and taking fully-loaded film crews with us each time.

Let me sign off by saying, we need Christian activists. Later this year (2019) I’ll be releasing my newest book called, “You are Chosen! Prepare to Triumph in A Fallen World.”

I want Christians to become warriors for Christ and put on the full armor of God. Be on the lookout for this book so you too can be victorious in a fallen world and triumph over God’s enemies.
