Purim King

Purim King(1954) was born in Bulgaria. She immigrated to Israel and served in the Israeli Army. In her 30's she moved to NY, with her husband and daughter. After raising her two children, she embarked on her healing Journey. She graduated from four-year program at Barbara Brennan School of Healing, and a two-year program of the Hakomi Institute. She then Received Bachelor of Science from NYS University and Master of Social Work from Adelphi University, Becoming Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NYS and Connecticut.

Entrepreneur and founder of Core Wellness and King’s Oracle, Purim has changed countless people's lives through her work as healer, reader, counselor and author. Her loving presence and ability to look into your soul and come up with practical, simple directives for ways to move your life into more of what you like it to be, and even better, are life-transforming.You may not even have the awareness of the constant repetitive chatter in your head, the trauma and drama in your life, or the emotions you suppressed so well that “everything is just fine”. You may believe there is nothing you can do. Purim King has facilitated many to rediscover joy and happiness, to increase their creativity, income and satisfaction at work, to gain caring relationships and feel loved and supported.

Purim King is an unlikely author. She didn't graduate with her class in high school, she dropped out of college twice and she is dyslexic. “I’m illiterate in three languages,” she says. Purim was in her mid-forties when she discovered Barbara Brennan Healing School. It was the first program she finished and graduated from, even though it took her 5 years, not 4. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science and Master of Social Work in only 3 years, and even taught briefly at Westchester Community College. Today Purim is a coach, and a presenter.

Purim King is a Renaissance Woman. She is a healer, psychic, painter, author, mom and so much more. She says, “I’m just willing to follow my longing and share the fruits of my imagination and my knowledge with others. Some get inspired by my work. I imagine they think: ‘Huh, if she calls herself a painter and does a one-woman show, so can I,’ or, ‘If she can publish books, so can I,’ or, ‘If she is dancing like that then I can, too.’
