Gwen MacKenzie

Gwen MacKenzie is the founder of Creative Structures & Spaces, a commercial real estate development firm focused on Development, Redevelopment and Adaptive Reuse in Urban Environments. Based in Dallas TX, Creative Structures & Spaces develops "Bricks & Mortar for the Creative Set" - providing innovative, eclectic, contemporary and modern spaces for art galleries, boutiques, home furnishings showrooms, culinary concepts, specialty grocers, co-work/creative loft offices, events centers and performing venues as well as architectural, interior design, media and tech companies.

Ms. MacKenzie has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience and closed over one billion dollars of transactions including development, redevelopment, acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, leasing and marketing. She was awarded both the CLS (Certified Leasing Specialist) and the CRX (Certified Retail Property Executive) designations from the International Council of Shopping Centers. In 2011, Ms. MacKenzie was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal's list of "Who's Who in Retail Real Estate Development". She has authored numerous articles for professional trade magazines and is frequently interviewed by national and regional commercial real estate publications.

A passionate supporter of the arts, Ms. MacKenzie is a former dancer and served on the Board of the Los Angeles Ballet. She has experience operating a fine arts gallery in Santa Fe NM. She enjoys riding horses, skiing, paddle boarding and windsurfing. Ms. MacKenzie graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University's George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management in Malibu CA.
