Rosie is known for creating wow factor cakes & confections that bring a certain sense of magic and whimsy to the table, but she shares her recipes with a warmth and clarity that make even the fanciest of desserts approachable, earning her readers serious praise and prize when they whip up her creations.

The pages of her debut book are filled to the brim with unique & playful ideas that will inspire creativity in bakers of all levels—including recipes for everything from sprinkle-laden sweets to show-stopping tiered cakes, interactive desserts that get everyone involved, sugar-coated cookies, and artful layer cakes. While the recipes and designs in the book are all brand new, they are a natural extension of her blog and celebrate her signature style: decadence with a hint of drama tied together with a parade of colors and nostalgic flavors.

Rosie trained at the Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts in Toronto. She established herself as a savvy entrepreneur with the creation of CAKE Beauty, a popular dessert-themed line of bath and body products before going on to found Sweetapolita.com.
