Richard Sinclair is an award winning children's book author and musician living in South Wales, UK.
Richard wrote his first book, 'What Will I Be?' purely as a surprise to delight his daughter, Maddi. It was brought out as an interactive app on iTunes and Google Play in 2013 and has been downloaded over 10,000 times to date. It went on to win the Children’s Technology Review’s Editor’s choice award as well as numerous 5-star reviews from app review sites (including Famigo.com and Theiphonemom.com). Due to the phenomenal success of the interactive app, 'What Will I Be?' was released as a physical board book and e-book the following year. Richard was suddenly an author.
The second book in the series, 'Where Will I Go?' was released as a board board, eBook and interactive app in May 2015. 'Where Will I Go?' was described as “A surefire way to give young kids the adventure bug and stir their curiosity… sure to be a massive hit at bedtime” Primary Times, (9-22 February 2015). The third book in the series, 'Who Will I Meet?' followed up in 2016.
His latest books, "Mason and the Bees' was published in 2021 and 'Mason and the Barbecue' in 2022.
His two children, Lewis and Maddi, and Maddi’s dog Mason, are the inspiration for his books and all feature in Richard's stories.
