Kevin J O'Conner

According to his phone’s auto-complete function, Kevin J. O’Conner ‘is a poet who is not sure what he does, but doesn’t have any other way to make sure he has a more appropriate experience with his own story.’ This is not far from the truth.

In the alternate timeline of his life, Kevin is an obscure artist with an obsessive following who devour every word he writes, every sound he makes, and every image he captures. In the current timeline—or at least a version in which Biff Tannen is not the luckiest man in the world—he is a freelance copy editor who writes poetry and publishes his own books.

Kevin’s latest collection of poetry, 2018’s WISHES SOMETIMES HAVE CONSEQUENCES, is really two books in one: a collection of poems chronicling his personal journey through the year 2018, and a parallel collection of poems written entirely in bookstores. His poems have also appeared in Raven Chronicles, Spindrift, Passionfruit, three editions of The Poetry Marathon Anthology, and the anthology Voices That Matter.

Kevin currently resides in the City of Subdued Excitement with his mom’s cat, her third in a row to be named Cleo.
