Meredith Allady

Meredith Allady first became involved in the creation of The Merriweather Chronicles almost twenty years ago, and though she enjoys the Parrys and their friends immensely, occasionally she can't help but wish they didn't take up so much of her free time, which otherwise could be spent reading.

She is an incurable book-addict, with a penchant for foot-notes; she loves well-written books in all genres, but especially history. She thinks the author of Pride and Prejudice should always be referred to as Miss Jane Austen, since her elder sister never married and thus remained always the official Miss Austen, and anything else is too familiar.

Update: As a life-long library enthusiast, Meredith is pleased to announce that "Friendship & Folly" has recently been selected for inclusion in Library Journal's curated SELF-e Select module. There are no royalties involved in this, and the prestige is of purely negligible proportions, but it comes with a spiffy logo that one is thereafter authorized to add to one's book cover, webpages, blogs, etc....if only one could actually figure out how to upload the thing.
