William Smyth

William Smyth spent his twenties as a student, researcher and teacher in New York, Washington DC and Cairo. Then in his thirties he left academics for interactive media where he produced titles ranging from language learning to adult entertainment. Lately, his thoughts have turned back to the Great Books, and he has begun to consider the value of a classical education — or education in general.

Mr. Smyth would like to think he lives by the “wine dark sea” in Ventura, California. But it’s hard to see the ocean as anything but green at its best and brown at its worst.
