Karlene Stewart

Karlene K. Stewart spent her early life in Jamaica. She attended the University of the West Indies, in Kingston, Jamaica and attained a Master of Arts Degree in Communication for Social and Behavior Change. She now lives in the Cayman Islands.

Karlene has been a writer since she was a teenager, when she freelanced as a Youth Writer in Jamaica. Among her many books is the bestselling How to Self-Publish Your Children's Picture Book Using PowerPoint, while her others include What If: All You Can Imagine, Journey of Miracles Through a Young Girl's Eyes, and the inspirational You Can Rise Up.

Karlene’s favorite authors are the inspirational Joel Osteen and the ever-popular children’s favorite, Dr Seuss. In a recent departure from the more serious and deep subjects she has tackled, Karlene has now published a picture book for children, called Meet the Imaginative Joe Dreamer, which is aimed at helping young children to learn how to problem solve and build up their confidence.

She also writes a blog called Let Panic Flow.

When she has time for herself, Karlene likes to spend time with friends and family and hopes to continue to write for many years to come, inspiring children and adults alike.
