Cheryl Picard, MSW, PhD, is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Law and Legal Studies at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. She works in private practice from her home in Prince Edward Island. Over her career, Cheryl was instrumental in establishing university, community, school, church, and workplace conflict resolution and mediation programs in Canada, Cuba, Bermuda, and Trinidad and Tobago. Her current research, writing and teaching aim to advance the “Insight approach to conflict”.
