Bernd Franco Hoffmann

Bernd Franco Hoffmann worked as a journalist for Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, Kölner StadtRevue and TAZ as well as a quiz author for WDR, RTL and Kabel eins, among others.

For the music magazines EB / METRONOME, MUSIK-WOCHE and ECLIPSED he wrote about Grobschnitt, Beach Boys, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Peter Rüchel, James Taylor, Mike Oldfield and Supertramp, among others. He has also written chapters on books on Santana and Emerson, Lake & Palmer.

Bernd Franco Hoffmann wrote numerous books in the field of sports, regional and transport history for various publishers, which were reported on by WDR, ZDF and RBB. As a musician and singer, he played synthesizers and samplers for the electronic bands Sector and Cromosome, what music journalist Matthias Lang says, “music for non-existent discos”.

With both bands he released several vinyl albums, CDs and video clips and appeared at documenta 8.
