Born in Idaho I graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in English. After teaching high school English for three years I entered on duty with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). As an agent I was trained as a hostage negotiator and a profiler. I was involved in the FBI research regarding serial offenders, rapists, child molesters and murderers. During that time I received a Master or Special Education in Emotional Disturbance from Montana State University in Billings, Montana. After my retirement I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, attended the University of Georgia where I received a Master of Social work degree. I worked as a therapist for noted psychiatrist Gene G. Abel treating sexual offenders. After seven years I became a polygraph examiner testing only sexual officers on probation or parole. My internship was taken in the United Kingdom testing sexual offenders. During this time I co-authored numerous articles and two book chapters dealing with treatment of sexual offenders. I retired for good in 2014.
I write under the name Brent W.A. Henderson. I have published two books, both suspense- thrillers, "Profile of a Killer" and "For Time and All Eternity." Both books are available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. I am working on a sequel to "For Time and all Eternity' titled "Bringing Mary Grace Home." This book should be ready in early 2017. I am also working on another book about my experiences in the FBI. That book will be ready in the fall of 2017 and it titled "As I Recall." I live in the Blue Ridge mountains of north Georgia with my wife of 52 years and our two shelties.
