Bob Lang

It has now been many years since Bob Lang's last drink in December of 1975. From 1980 until 1983 he served as the overseer of the Alcohol and Drug Recovery Program of Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California. During that time his dream of teaching again was answered. He was offered an opportunity by Calvary Chapel to teach in their elementary school. With joy, he accepted that offer and taught 4th grade there for the next 22 years! In 1987, Bob published his story of recovery in his book, "Uncle Bobby's Finally Sober." That same year the Billy Graham Evangelist Assoc. started using it in their Christian Counseling Dept. and continued for the next 24 years. "Uncle Bobby's Finally Sober" has been widely used in multiple Christian recovery programs ever since. At this time over 38,000 printed copies of Bob's book are in circulation. It is now available at Amazon's Kindle Books in English and Spanish. Recently, Bob has written his latest book, "From Emptiness To Fulfillment Real Life Began." It shares how much his life has changed since he gained sobriety. Bob is now retired and living with his wife, Judi, in Southern California.
