Patricia Gates Lynch

A young Connecticut girl becomes a teenaged bride of a dashing West Point graduate and her tale begins. Pat Gates Lynch's life took her from towns near military camps to residing in Oak Ridge, Tennessee during final development efforts on the Manhattan Project. She began an early example of what has become the radio talk show format in suburban northern Virginia, then went on to new heights as a co-host on Voice of America international programing. Later, she served as an ambassador to Madagascar. Ms. Lynch lived in Virginia and on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. She died in 2011.
