Dan Lacich

Born and raised in Pittsburgh in a family that rarely attended church, Dan came to a life changing faith in Christ that quickly became focused on being a student of the things of God and sharing that with others. Since that time Dan has served as a pastor, church planter, adjunct faculty for two universities as well as a teacher and trainer of pastors in Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe. Dan is the Lead Pastor at Oviedo City Church in Oviedo Florida, an Orlando suburb

Dan's style takes the best that scholarship and academia have to offer and makes it easily accessible to the average person and applicable to real life. It makes for books and blogs that are easy to read, personal, informative and thought provoking. It is the provoking part that drives much of what Dan writes because of a conviction that God is indeed very provocative and that remaining indifferent to such a God is not a real option.

He and his wife Barbara have been married for more than 40 years and have three grown sons who are all married. For fun he has volunteered as a high school football coach for 20 years, grows Bonsai trees, and cheers for the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins with passion.
