Cheryl Torain is a resident of Baltimore, MD and is a widow with two daughters Zena and Tasha, two sons-in-law, and six-grandchildren. She is a member of Genesis Bible Fellowship Church of Baltimore, MD where she currently serves as the Director of the Women's Ministry.
In October 1972, Cheryl received Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She has been teaching women for over 42 years, and has an extensive audio teaching ministry. Cheryl has released four CD projects: "He Cares for You", "From My Heart to You Lord","Prepared to Praise" and her latest "Reflections" as a compilation of songs from her three CD's.
Cheryl has had opportunities to sing and teach women in West Africa, India, and Brazil. She has ministered with Ruth Graham and Friends at conferences throughout the central United States. Cheryl also had the privilege of serving as the Women's Ministry chair at the Franklin Graham Festival held in Baltimore, Md.

c. Wave the Red Flag! Change is Inevitable, but Misery is Optional (2012)

The purpose of her ministry is found in II Corinthians 5:9 "Therefore, I make it my aim, whether present or absent to be well pleasing to Him."
