Bill Rowe grew up in a small house and a large family of 10. Peace and quiet were scarce commodities. At the age of eleven, during a typical normal-noisy evening, he was sitting on the couch while trying to read a book. His mother looked over and saw him struggling, called his name, then gave him permission to go into her bedroom and close the door— a rare privilege. That was the magic moment when he fell in love with reading. Free of the nightly chaos, the muffled sounds drifted away and he was set free to ride a pirate ship pursuing hidden treasures or to float down the Mississippi River in search of adventure.
Bill has been an entrepreneur in Baltimore for 32 years. His hobbies are traveling, photography and reading. When not working or writing, he is most likely trying to satisfy his wanderlust with his wife Sharman.
