Laura R Langhoff

Laura Langhoff Arndt is a woman with a mission. She is a professional educator with over 15 years of experience teaching middle and high school students in both traditional and charter public schools and Lutheran schools. She has an M.A. in Classroom Instruction as well as school board leadership and administrative experience. She is also a certified Director of Christian Education (DCE) in the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS). Her mission is to equip and encourage those involved in education in the church whether it be for confirmation, Sunday School, or excellence in Lutheran schools. She has presented at circuit meetings, conferences, and district workshops.

Pastors of small congregations have the unique challenge of doing all the regular chores required of the shepherd of a flock while also doing their best to do what any DCE, DCO, and often a music minister would do. This is no small task. In order to help make the pastor’s job easier Laura started THE CARPENTER’S MINISTRY TOOLBOX (http://dceministry.blogspot.com/). This blog is jam packed with all kinds of ideas and resources to help those with year or very little experience in ministry. From time to time everyone needs resources, support, ideas, or encouragement. Check out the blog site to find out more or search for free resources!

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8
