Eric J. Schmieder

Eric J. Schmieder is a respected educator and presenter in the computer technology field. He earned his BSBA in Business Computer Information Systems and Masters in Entrepreneurship from Western Carolina University. He has completed additional studies in Technology Management - Digital Communication Systems at Indiana State University and Organizational Leadership at Northcentral University.

Eric brings nearly 20 years of web design experience and over 30 years of programming experience into his newest textbook, Web, Database, and Programming Fundamentals, First Edition, publishing summer 2017 with Sentia Publishing. He has co-authored several titles on Microsoft technologies including: Excel 2016, Windows 10, Office 365, SharePoint 2013, and Windows 8.1 Update.

His teaching experience within the NC Community College System and with NC State University's Technology Training Solutions division help to maintain his desire to learn new things to share with his students. Eric has been a successful small business owner and is currently a member of the John Maxwell Team.
