I have been writing stories since I was a child and have chests filled with scribbled notes and old printouts. I have recently written an adventure story for age nine upwards, called Storm Swift and the Seventh Key, an exciting story set on Puffin Island. The island is home to Storm Swift. Her dark anxious world is transformed after she is suspended from school. From Hell School to Home School, Storm flourishes. Finn her cousin arrives on the island one stormy night after running away from his psychopathic step dad and together they discover the mysterious underworld of the island that contains tunnels, secrets, puzzles to be solved and a shipwreck. Storm is a strong, intelligent and cool character. The story is fast paced and full of fun and excitement.

My other novels include: Indigo Awakes and Indigo Haunted, which were written in the hope to inspire others. Those who suffer from domestic violence or who are just generally stuck in a rut or unhappy, to make changes to their lives. Indigo Awakes is my first novel. I wrote it one summer holiday, and the following year completed Indigo Haunted. The writing poured out of me. I sent Indigo Awakes to the publisher Local Legend, who agreed to publish it.

I'm still on my 'journey' working to stay positive and think well of myself, and lead a good decent life. Some days I'm really powerful and other times I struggle; but, I will never give up and have many more stories to write. I hope you enjoy the books and thank you ...x
