From an extremely sheltered upbringing derives a vibrant, blossoming girl not quite realizing her full potential but eager to learn and devour every bit of knowledge placed in front of her.

Her real life experiences, some good and some bad, has encouraged her to write her story. She is the author of the true story, Daddy Was an Exorcist (selling approximately 100 books per month). This memoir talks about the faith in God that her father had and how he always believed that God would take care of everything. When sick or when hungry for example, he would always say that God would provide. It was very much like the story of the drowning man that believed God would save him. God sent a boat, as a sign to be saved, but he did not realize that God had sent it. God does answer our prayers in mysterious, miraculous ways sometimes we just do not realize it because it is not the way we were expecting.

Blessing's second book, Count Your Blessings, is a continuation of her journey into womanhood. This story is also an inspiration. It teaches you that no matter how difficult your life may seem, or how lonely you may feel if you put your mind to it and have a little faith, you can make it through. Don't be afraid to ask for help, there are people out there that can help you through the tough times if you need them.

Having much faith in God’s miracles, she worked determinedly lifting heavy weights to win a Nationwide Natural Bodybuilding Competition in 2007; survived the floods of 2008 that almost washed away the new home that her husband and she had built; and two more Natural disasters, (Hurricane Mathew 2016, Derecho 2020) The challenges and tests only caused Blessing to grow stronger mentally and physically overcoming any "Disaster," placed in Blessings path. There seems to be no end to what she can do.

Not only does Blessing accept the challenges that come her way, but she also welcomes them with open arms. This is the kind of person, strong and courageous that has made her the woman she is today. She is one to be inspired by.

Writing this memoir and sharing the story of her religious upbringing has been great therapy. If she could help even one person move on from an extreme, fanatical or cult-like life, it would truly be a blessing.
