Clay Waters

Clay Waters has been published in a wide variety of genres -- scholarly papers and academic book reviews, pop culture reviews, and his own poems and short stories. He works as a media critic at NewsBusters, a project of the Media Research Center, where he monitors biased coverage at PBS and the New York Times. His journalism and reviews have appeared in numerous outlets, including National Review Online, Wall Street Journal's Best of the Web, Human Events, The Federalist, The American Spectator, The American Conservative, the New York Post, and the Drudge Report, as well as thousands of posts for NewsBusters. Previously he served as director of TimesWatch, MRC’s previous project monitoring the New York Times. Clay has had short stories published in The Santa Barbara Review, Abyss & Apex, The Headlight Review, Morpheus Tales, Three-Lobed Burning Eye, and Avalon Literary Review. His poetry has appeared in Green Hills Literary Lantern, The Santa Clara Review, Poet Lore, Roanoke Review, Literal Latte, and New Delta Review.
