Tanya Reimer

Born and raised in the heart of Saskatchewan, Tanya finds inspiration in the tranquil prairies as a setting for her not-so-peaceful speculative fiction.

Her passion for storytelling extends beyond fiction; she contributed to newspapers and newsletters, helped students tackle yearbooks, compiled historical research into 8 bilingual historical magazines, and shared life’s musings on Life’s Like That.

Now a full-time grant writer, Tanya also writes under a pen name, exploring new genres.

Tanya’s literary journey began at fifteen with her first column, and she later earned a diploma in Journalism and Short Story Writing. Her significant published works in speculative fiction span historical fiction, sci-fi, and magical fantasies.

Best Author 2017 was awarded by Critters/Preditors & Editors Readers’ Polls Award. Many thanks to the readers and fans.
