Robert Woutat

Rob Woutat grew up in North Dakota, taught literature and writing in a private prep school in Minnesota, directed plays and other educational programs, worked as a freelance wilderness guide, wrote for local and regional newspapers and magazines, and wrote two book length family histories. He moved to the Pacific Northwest where he taught at a community college and wrote commentary for the NPR affiliate in Seattle/Tacoma, a full length comedy for the stage, a memoir about his North Dakota childhood (Dakota Boy) and a biography of a psychopath (Rosalina's Story). For 10 years he has written a regular opinion column for The Kitsap Sun (kitsapsun.com). His website is robwoutat.com.
