Writing thriller stories puts me where the action is and explores what drives twisted killers and drug dealers. Thankfully, I counter them with the heroes who stop the human wreckage.

I write to inform, inspire, and entertain.

My fascination with writing started with a blast of the fire alarm at the volunteer fire department across from the deli where my mom and I were eating lunch. She was writing for the local paper and as the firemen scrambled to the station and rolled to what was a brush fire, she grabbed me and we scrambled after them.

Writing means being involved and being aware and digging into what is important. That early experience led to my career spanning radio news and features, writing content for businesses, and rolling out both fiction and non-fiction titles.

Crafting sentences that flow well and dialogue that strikes an emotion is quite satisfying in all forms of writing whether it's content focused on robotics, a story of an entrepreneur launching an enterprise, or fictional characters falling in love, or solving a murder.

Writing allows me to be "part of the action" wherever that may be.
