Robert Grossmark

Robert Grossmark PhD, ABPP is a psychoanalyst in private practice in New York City. He works with individuals, couples and groups. He teaches and supervises at the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychoanalysis, the National Institute for the Psychotherapies Adult Training Program in Psychoanalysis and the National Training Program. He teaches at the doctoral program in clinical psychology at the City University of New York, The Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Training Program and The Minnesota Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.

He has published psychoanalytic articles that integrate contemporary Relational ideas with object relations, contemporary Freudian and other perspectives. He is the author of "The Unobtrusive Relational Analyst: Explorations in Psychoanalytic Companioning" published in the Relational Perspectives Book Series. He is co-editor of "Heterosexual Masculinities: Contemporary Perspectives from Psychoanalytic Gender Theory" and "The One and The Many: Relational Approaches to Group Psychotherapy" all published by Routledge.
