Dr. Te Wu is a certified PfMP, PgMP, PMP, and PMI-RMP (Portfolio, Program, Project and Risk Management, Professional), a founder and CEO of PMO Advisory LLC, an Assistant professor at Montclair State University (MSU), a visiting/adjunct professor at other regional universities including Stevens Institute of Technology and Touro Graduate School of Business, a core team member with PMI on both portfolio management and risk management standard teams, and a voting member on the American National Standard Institute's Technical Advisory Group 258 (ANSI TAG 256) for Project, Program, and Portfolio that represents the U.S. on the International Standard Organization Technical Committee 258 (ISO TC 258) on global project, program, and portfolio considerations.
Prof. Wu found PMO Advisory LLC, a management consulting firm that specializes in Strategic Business Execution including portfolio, program, and project management. Accomplishments include winning "Honorable Mention" in 2015's PMI-NJ's Project of the Year. He has more than 20 years of experience in management consulting, having worked with industry leaders such as KPMG, Accenture, Oracle, Kraft, Standard and Poor's, Chase Bank, LexisNexis, Lumina Foundation, Weill Cornell, and Harley Davidson. In addition to teaching, Dr. Wu is a frequent speaker and visiting professor at regional universities including CUNY, SUNY, and various PMI Chapters around the world presenting on a range of management subjects including organizational change, business strategy, international business, and project management.
Dr. Wu is one of few, estimated at less than 200 in the world, with the triple PPP, Risk, and ITIL certification. He is a board and advisory member to multiple educational institutions, researcher, author, and public speaker. Most recently, he presented at a variety of global symposiums including PMI's Global Congress in EMEA Rome in May, PMI's China Congress in China in September, and PMI Greece's conference in Athens in December 2017.
