Academically, I have been formally taught science, mathematics, literature, economics, marketing, finance and management. The last school I attended was a B-School in India. Most of the learning however happened outside the formal schools.
In professional career I have worked with many organizations like Pfizer, Prudential –ICICI. At some point I was heading a BPO vertical with footprints in Europe, North America and UK. At another point of time, as COO in an Asset Management Company, I managed ETF operations, the offshore fund operations and also the Managed Accounts operations.
Then when I got really bored of not having done anything creative, I went and made a short film, followed it with a fictional novel which was published by Lead Start Publishing in Mumbai. I like to blog as I write on a varied subjects. Besides the fictional novel I have also published books on our heritage stories, viz. Shaniwarwada LLP, Celebration of Diversities, and Hampe to Vijayanagar.
I love photography, almost all genre but specifically the noire architectural photography of heritage sites is my favorite. My debut exhibition was at the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, in Nov-2015, followed by some more, like at NCPA in Apr-2016. So all the visuals that you would see in the book have been clicked by myself.
I love stories. In search of stories I travel a lot, many times driving miles and miles in my monstrous Safari all by myself. I love films, even watching films. I love reading, all kinds of books, from Balance sheets to Bond and everything in between.
love
