Lisa Luke Easterling

Lisa Luke Easterling is grateful to have led an eventful but blessed life thus far. Married at 16 and a mama at 17, Lisa has gathered some interesting life experience. Five homeschooled kids and a growing number of grandchildren later, she recently finished college and entered the intriguing season of empty-nesting. These days, she and her husband Steve enjoy their time together in Florida in their little cottage by the lake.

Lisa teaches middle school at a local community school, teaches kindergarteners and first-graders in a local after-school program, subs in primary classes at a local charter school, teaches five-year-olds on the weekends at her home church, and tutors privately. She and Steve serve in their local church and are always on the lookout for ways to positively contribute to their local community. While she stays plenty busy teaching, Lisa finds time for her lifelong love of writing, believing that every life is worth celebrating and every person's unique story is worth sharing with the world.

A Florida native, proud supporter of local Tampa Bay area sports teams, weaver of words, and lifelong pluviophile, Lisa loves the sound of ocean waves on the seashore, chestnut praline Frappuccinos, and most shades of blue.
