Penelope Maguffin

PENELOPE MAGUFFIN was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a Manhattanite for 26 years. She has been writing poetry since the age of seven. Penelope is very well known in the NYC poetry circuit. She was the first person to run a poetry workshop in a homeless shelter and also was a volunteer poetry teacher for the Dept. of Correction Riker's Island jail. Penelope has written over 1,000 poems and is pleased that her poems touch people in a healing way. FLOW OF HOPE is her first book. She now lives in Bradenton, FL, where she loves the flowers and big birds and talks to the lizards.
