Robert D. Stevens

Physician-scientist and faculty @Johns Hopkins University with appointments in Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine, Biomedical Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering. Founder and head, Johns Hopkins Laboratory of Computational Intensive Care Medicine. Dr Stevens' team designs artificial intelligence systems and applies them to high-dimensional datasets such as biomarker expression panels, physiological time series, and imaging. Ongoing work includes programs (1) to establish predictive, preventive, personalized, and precise [P4] medicine, and (2) to eliminate inefficiencies and streamline operations in complex health systems. The overarching objective is to accelerate data-driven digitally enabled transformation of the health space.
