Joseph L. Thomas

Joseph L. Thomas, Ph.D., is the founder and president of Life Together House. He is the author of "Perfect Harmony: Interracialism in Early Holiness-Pentecostalism, 1880-1909" and co-author with Jonathan King of "Wayfinding with Dietrich Bonhoeffer: Off the Beaten Path and into the Kingdom." Along with Jonathan King and Mark Draper, Joe Co-hosts the popular podcast Wayfinding. With Doug Peterson, Joe has written two plays: "Come Before Winter," a play on Dietrich Bonhoeffer and "Friends Indeed," a play about the unusual friendship between Benjamin Franklin and George Whitefiled. He has worked with the Christian History Institute providing historical oversight for the Torchlighter's Series and periodically writes articles for Christian History Magazine. Joe also leads Christian history tours in Europe. Dr. Thomas is Assistant Professor of History of Christianity at Urbana Theological Seminary in Illinois.
