John Barton Ratliff III

John Barton Ratliff III graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Japanese and did graduate studies in linguistics. He worked as a specialist in foreign language training for the US Department of State for twenty-three years, and then as head of his own successful language services company for another sixteen years. In retirement, Ratliff decided the story of William Pinkney Ratliff and his family needed to be told.

John and his wife Diane live in Falls Church, Virginia, near their four sons and their wives, and their eight grandchildren.
