Alex is a doctor, GP trainer and medical writer. He graduated from University College London with a Psychology degree and studied Medicine at Leeds University.
He is passionate about education, in particular communication skills training, and has successfully supported numerous trainees through their Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA), an essential part of the Membership examination for the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). He was a Programme Director for the Epsom vocational training scheme from 2004 to 2009, during which time he completed a Postgraduate Certificate in medical education.
He has authored three books: 'A Modern Guide to GP Consulting - Six S for Success' (aimed at GPs and doctors in training), 'ENT in Primary Care' (aimed at GPs, practice nurses and medical students), and a children's book 'Dr Ace' (aimed at primary school aged children).
