David Luke

A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dr. David J. Luke attended Grand Valley State University and earned bachelors degrees in Accounting and Sociology, subsequently working as an accountant and earning his Certified Public Accountant license. David returned to school to study sociology and earned his Masters degree in 2012 and Ph.D. in 2018, both from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Luke has a number of research interests including race & ethnicity, social inequality, and the sociology of work and organizations, broadly.
