Writing a biography for an author page is tricky. Be creative, share interesting details, use humor is advised. I have realized that there is much I could say, somethings I shouldn't say, and a lot I won't say! But I felt I should give writing a bio a try. So here goes:

I married young (quite happily,) helped raise our three children (who are great,) went back to school part-time (when the youngest was old enough for preschool,) graduated (almost a decade later,) built a career (from which I recently retired,) became a grandmother. As you might imagine, this has kept me quite busy! But I have always had a variety of other interests that tugged at my heart. Writing, photography, sewing, painting, sculpting, gardening are all part of me. I have never known what the next great idea would be but have always been willing to find out! If I had to describe myself I guess I would describe myself as a maker-not magical like Harry Potter or Alvin Miller-but a maker of things nonetheless. Taking an idea through to the finished product satisfies me greatly. Having had the chance to create these books of puzzles, poetry, stories has been a great thrill for me. I don't always know what might be coming next, but you can bet I have a zillion crazy ideas and at least one of them will be another book.
