Brian Brennan

Brian Brennan has taught ancient history in schools and universities and led many tours to Italy. The Ring Lady is his first novel and reflects his abiding love for Italy and his fascination with Rome. He is currently writing another novel featuring Fabrizio Altieri - The Case of the Art Forger. Brian's other publications have included articles on Late Latin poetry, particularly Venantius Fortunatus, and a number of ancient history textbooks. He also published in 2012 a collection of translated written sources from Herculaneum in Herculaneum A Sourcebook. Over the years Brian has also led many tours to Roman sites in North Africa and knows Libya, Tunisia and Algeria well. These days when Brian is not in Italy he lives in Sydney, Australia.
