Doug Dunn

Hello, Allow me to introduce myself; I am CMA National Recording Artist Doug Dunn. I am a lifetime member of the Country Music Association, a member of the Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and as of 2014, a published author. Please check out my first book "Nine Words in Heaven." I didn't start out to write a book.... you see, I woke up one saturday morning...and 57 minutes later, I died. Thats where my journey begins. I hope you will take a read.

I am so thankful for so many who worked tirelessly to save my life, over and over. I suffered a heart attack known as a Widow Maker. The cardiologist who caught me in the ER refused to let me stay dead....12 times he hit me with the paddles, and then as the next days went on, and I ended up on life support...it wasn't a very good outlook. But 11 days later, I walked out of the hospital into a world I had never known. Thanks to Dr. Danielle McNeal who worked so much helping me to first COPE with the PTSD that I was diagnosed with and turning into what she deems PTSG (Post Traumatic Stress Growth!).

Thanks to the many readers who HAVE bought the book and responded to me, emailed me, or contacted me, or come up to me at book events! I thank you all. And i thank YOU for hopefully reading NINE WORDS IN HEAVEN.
