Rachel Lynch

Rachel Lynch grew up in Cumbria and regularly hiked the fells from a young age.

After studying history at the University of Lancaster, Rachel trained to become a teacher in London.

She began writing full time in 2016 and is represented by Peter Buckman of the Ampersand Agency.

Canelo signed the first three novels in the Kelly Porter series in 2018 and there are now 12 in the series with a Prequel called First Act coming in 2026.

To date the series has sold over 1 million copies.

The Rich, The Famous and The Secret Inheritance are Rachel’s standalone psychological thrillers. The Rift and The Line are military thrillers featuring Major Helen Scott.

Rachel lives near London with her husband and two children, and Poppy the terrier.
