William Cullen

I was born in 1959, in Portsmouth, Ohio which is in the foothills of Appalachia coal country. My father had been a steelworker and my mother had been a stay at home parent. I grew up in Mansfield, Ohio having graduated from Mansfield Sr. High School in 1978. Eventually, I attended The Ohio State University - Mansfield before graduating with my BBA from Shawnee State University in my hometown of Portsmouth. Then, from there, I attended and graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, W. Va. with an MBA. I have worked in customer service in one form to another, but I have always maintained a strong interest in local history around the Ohio/Kentucky/West Virginia region. Other works include A History of Moonville, Ohio and a Collection of its Haunting Tales and A History of the Portsmouth (Ohio) Brewing Company: Parts I and II.
