Rucha Dixit

After thirteen years in the software industry and having both her babies, Rucha realised that she was meant to write. So, she dived straight in and channelled her passion and experience as a new mother into a self-published non-fiction book, For New Mums, on Amazon.

She also loves writing for children – novels, short stories and poems.

In Oct 2019, she received an honorary mention from the judges of the SCBWI BAME Scholarship Award for her entry.

She’s also been longlisted in the Times Chicken House Competition 2020.

When she’s not writing, she’s doing laundry (because there's always laundry to do) or standing upside down in a Yoga posture. She lives with her husband and two children in Surrey, U.K.
