Taylor R. Powers

Taylor R. Powers is a born and bred upstate New York native from Cooperstown, NY. He attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst for Veterinary and Animal Science and worked in the industry for some time as a veterinary technician. He broke into the writing industry with the Summerswill Saga, a young adult and children's adventure series. A certified Reiki healer, he splits his time between running the theater department at SUNY Delhi and pursuing strange artistic endeavors. He currently still lives and writes in central New York with his fiancé. He cites Ralph Bakshi, Stephen King, Tolkien, George R.R. Martin, Palahniuk, Stephen Hall, and the animation of Rankin & Bass as inspiration. Ain't Talkin': A Novel of the Wastelands is his most recent work.
